Hunger is not a good feeling. There are so many people that are experiencing hunger. When a person is hungry it can affect their health.
At our church we have our Missionary Outreach and we also have a group of committed and dedicated workers. Once or twice a month we feed the community or anyone who comes by is served a meal. We also give out food packages to many families.
This year we had a a great experience, we were able to give out over 50 Thanksgiving baskets throughout our community.
Over the past few months we have received so much food donations to help us give out more care packages as well as serve hot meals to many needy families.
When we help others it is a great blessing and feeling to share our time and services. Many of the members from our church come out and help with our outreach ministry.
We also have started our street ministry, where we sing songs, give out tracts. We also witness to those that stop and many who simply are passing by. We have been so blessed through the ministry of giving and want to continue to reach out to many more families on a regular basis.
